“Best Attraction in Mid Wales” (National Tourism Awards 2018). King Arthur’s Labyrinth.

Suspend your disbelief as you set sail through the cascading veil of an underground waterfall and discover a magical place where tales from the mists of time are retold. Tales of dragons, giants and the legendary King Arthur. Guided by a Dark Age Boatman through immense caverns and winding tunnels, you will find these ancient Welsh stories brought to life through dramatic scenes, light and sound.

Brave the waters of Dragon River to return safely to the outside world.

There are more ancient tales to be found back above ground in Lost Legends of The Stone Circle where you can navigate the snaking paths of a simple maze to find mythical stories, intriguing characters and The Stone Circle. Complete the quiz and win a medal! Get half price admission when you also buy a ticket for King Arthur’s Labyrinth.

King Arthur’s Labyrinth and Lost Legends of The Stone Circle start from the Corris Craft Centre which is also home to 9 fabulous craft studios and the resident designer-makers. Find unique handmade items including traditional wooden toys, celtic jewellery, candles, pottery (including smoking dragons), handmade chocolates, artisan gin, glass sculptures, herbal lotions and remedies and rustic wooden furniture. Also have fun making your own designs with pottery painting, candle dipping, chocolate making and furniture building workshops.

At the centre of the attractions is Y Crochan café which is light, bright and modern with views all around of the densely wooded hillsides of the Corris valley. Enjoy delicious local produce in a range of dishes which are served throughout the day.

You’ll find more mouth-watering produce in our Welsh food and drink shop Bwtri Y Crochan, translating into English as The Larder. Browse the shelves packed with locally grown, reared and produced items including honey, cheeses, cakes, biscuits, chutneys, jams, beers, liqueurs and much more.

A further attraction, Corris Mine Explorers, allows you to explore the virtually untouched abandoned workings of an old Welsh slate mine with one of Wales’ top Mine Explorers. It’s like a virtual time capsule with more than 130 years of mining history captured inside.

With so much to do and free all day parking, come and make a day of it.
